Having The Best Selection of 2020 Holiday Gifts in One Article For Anyone in the World is the Best R

This Grandma, for this blog, keeps folders of different topics on my Ipad. Whenever I read something I want to keep, I put it in a folder.  I recently perused the New York Magazine article, “Every Holiday Gift Guide From the Strategist — in One Place,” by the editors, December 1, 2020.

I realized that every article in the compilation was in a folder I already had.  That is how comprehensive this article is, how good, and how helpful.  The categories of gifts are beyond you will find anywhere. Save this New York Magazine article in an on line folder.  I bet you check it out for more than one gift during 2021.

HERE ARE MY MANY FAVORITES:

Check out options like their recommended  EZPZ Happy Mat, a  100% silicone suction plate with built-in placemat  for toddlers and preschoolers, and I would add babies.  Check out this Amazon link.

Another one that is great, Wool Dryer Balls.

THE BEST GIFTS UNDER $10 FOR EVERY PERSON

Fabulous choices for kids: Carhartt Baby Crew Socks, 6 Pair Pack.  Buy girls on Amazon.

Buy boys on Amazon.

For $9 Partyfirst Blue Birthday Cotton Candy Slime.  Your grandchildren will love you; their parents not so much.  Buy at Amazon.

Remember that occasional gifts to your new mom daughter or daughter in law go a long way. Some of the items seem personal, so I might ask first, but my favorite, for a baby, of course, is the Magnetic Me Sumatra Modal Magnetic Footie, so wonderful with no zipper and no buttons. My daughter loved the modal fabric.  The new mom will want many when you introduce this.  Buy at Amazon with lots of choices.

Again, personal, so I would ask a daughter in law.

Great choices for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.  Few for older than that.  Good visit presents, too.

GIFT IDEAS WITH INFORMATION ABOUT CHILD DEVELOPMENT:

Every single one, especially the baby books,  is a gem. From $5 to $36.

$10 to $249.  These last two categories are also great baby gifts anytime.  Again, every single one is a gem.

$5 to $150.  I tried to convince my daughter I should buy our youngest grandson the drum.  No go.  Grandparents should not ask.

$9 TO $250.  When we had FaceTime last night with our older of our two almost three year old grandsons, he was playing with Kinetic Sand.

When we had FaceTime last night with our youngest grandson, almost three also, he was playing with Magna-Tiles Clear Colors 100 Piece Set.

The only one I would not recommend is the bounce house.

$13 to $110. Again, every one a gem.  Another go to list.

$9 TO $250.  So many to choose from that are great.

$2 to $325.  Again, so many to choose from that are great.

$4 to $200.  A wonderful list of gifts.

$8 TO $170.  Discuss the toy with the child, but ask the parents if they are okay with that.   If you have finished watching, “The Queen’s Gambit,” you might want to consider the recommended chess set for $19.99 shown on the series. Buy at Amazon.

$8 TO $220.  At this age, you can mention a toy to your grandchild and see if they are interested.

$8 TO $369.  Great options to consider with your grandchild.

$8 TO $899.  More expensive options at this age group.

$8 TO $500.  Some of the books might be appropriate at any earlier age.  Check with the parents.

$8 TO $899.  Definitely check with your granddaughter first. I did introduce our granddaughter to Glossier, but showed her the options first on the glossier website.

OTHER YORK MAGAZINE GIFT GUIDE ARTICLES TO CHECK OUT IF YOU NEED IDEAS FOR MORE COMMON CATEGORIES:

Some odd choices.  The books are safe bets.

Cash.

Cash.

Cash.

AND THERE ARE MORE LISTS FOR MORE CATEGORIES

It is hard to believe, but the above is far from all categories, think cat lovers, dog lovers, boss, etc.  Keep this link for all of the options.  If you are stuck, you can always find a list that applies here.

On so many of the lists, it says “the only list you will ever need.”  I would say the above should be the first place you look.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
